It wasn't a fuse we replaced.
It was the lights three position switch/up and down wheel lights/ up and down wheel dimmer/fog light whole box unit in the dash on right of the steering wheel that we pried out of the dash. The scrap one that we used unfortunately had no front foglight push switch but it didn't matter. We'll just have to do without the fog lights in the bumper on the new car.
I'll try and attach a picture of the unit in next post.
The replacement brought back to life all the dash lights, high beam, and dimmer as new. The only thing still to sort out is lack of cruise control.

When one V70 is knackered, we keep it and always replace with another of the same vintage for all bits.

Just looked on the back of old switch unit and there are two tiny Phillips screws .
So one could possibly investigate further and get right in there prying and separating plastic as you go.

Smile missing switches

Just an idle thought about the missing foglight switches, you might find if you take apart the old switch module and compare with the new one (missing switches) that you could swap the pcb over, as often the missing switch contacts are there but just no mechanicals to operate them,, post a pic if you get it apart...
