hmm...curious....

All the 300 series tilt / slide ones I've seen have been metal (hence mine is rusty!)....I'm increasingly thinking some clever person has transplanted this one from a 240 / 740 / something else at some point!

It must be either non-OEM or pinched from a 1994 (American) 960 or 1995 940/960 as till these models appeared all sunroofs were metal. Unless, of course, someone knows better (perhaps 400, 800 or 40 models?).

400 series ones were glass (that's where I'm starting my search, especially as theyre so common in the scrappers!), and the 300 tilt-only (on a catch) were too (although those don't count as theyre tilt only :)).

Is the switch a 'volvo like' design (ie: like a window switch), and does the motor-cover trim fit well.....these should be the giveaways!
