Front and rear park assist sensors are standard on UK cars.

That must be a new thing.

Sorry but having sensors always on is just a distraction. I can drive a car well enough to not need them for normal driving. For me, they would only be necessary for slow speed manoeuvring and parking when the camera can be selected.

How often do you get within 1m of other cars when driving fast???
Believe me, it never gets to the point that it could be distracting.

I got my car second hand and really miss reversing camera and front parking sensors. I think 360 camera is only slightly more and would be even better.

I also wanted volvo on call for remote starting, but it seems to be a common cause of complaints so maybe it doesnt work as well as it should. I think it might be standard now anyway? Anyway the windscreen heater works well on icy mornings.

I have android auto but half the time i dont bother with it - It would be good for speed camera warnings etc if doing lots of long journeys.

So if i was buying new i'd get the 360 degree camera and winter pack.

Thank you for all the thoughts.

Lots to consider, never really thought about a 360 degree camera. Not sure how helpful it would be though...

In the comment about the Volvo app, what problems are there with it?

I had Android Auto in a Skoda, cost was £200 to get it installed and it never worked. Does it connect well in the Volvo...

The 360 camera is of great benefit, you will love it and use it every time you reverse or park your car or maneuver your car in a tight space, once you have it you will not want a car without it ever again.

We've got most packs on our V90CC, in order of must have options I'd go:

1) Winter pack with heated screen
2) On Call - remote start is very useful in the Highlands!
3) Laminated side glass - copmpared to the demo cars we drove I genuinely think ours is quieter with the funky side glass - expensive to spec but I would be tempted
4) B&W - just wow
5) Xenium - camera's are nice but far from essential
