I expect you've bent a con rod, maybe not too expensive to fix, if you can DIY.

yeah that is what i think but the mechanic thinks its the piston or the conrods as he has taken the whole top off and the cams and tappets are all ok so it must be lower down the engine i will find out very soon thanks for the reply

I feel for you, that is one lovely car and the same colour as mine and it looks great when polished up.

Dont be a fool ,think long and hard before you sell/break it.
Been there done that and bought the tee shirt,you WILL get another job give it time but panic sometimes sets in As the car stands because it has been modded (totaly none standard)and has issues it is only fit for scrapping. Who would buy a car that has problems for that money when you can get one that is almost A1?. My advise is sorn it if you can afford to unless there is finance on it it and you want to clear your feet. Good luck whatever way you jump. |
