Bugger! Did they give any idea of when they would be expecting any in or failing that, any ideas of other sources?

Unfortunately no! 'Try again in the new year' They did however say that it was not a unique part to them but a part they bought in. I might try a search on the kit car / custom car sites.
Good luck Scott |

I think we may be out of luck for the immediate future!
Well I have kept looking and the only thing I have found is this here.
I gave them a quick ring to find out if they expected any of these in and it is a total unknown so it could be months or even years...who knows. I think I will try and have a go at sticking the originals back on and see how I get on. Cheers Tony |

glue!
Why not glue the original ones back on? I use Bison glass glue. cures in a few seconds in (UV) sunlight. Similar products should be available elsewhere I guess.

Try Amazon Cars. I bought a couple of vent locks from them in May this year after several attempts at glue of various types. It stayed stuck for a few weeks, but then the glue gave up. I think they were about £23. Expensive for what they are, but they do the job.

Thanks guys.
I am going to give the glue a shot tonight and see how I go. I liked the clips from grumpy's as they looked good as worked as the standard ones would. Thanks TFHill but the postage works out far too high for those to be an option. Thanks laptoprob, i will give it a go for myself but had kind of dismissed this one as everyone else seems to have trouble with them falling off again, time will tell! And last but by no means least, Fred, if the buggers drop off pretty sharpish then I'll be on the phone to Amazon, thanks for the tip! Cheers Tony |

Hi John, I think it's a dutch brand Bison. A special glass glue. I can send you one?
The system says I don't have enough posts to reply to a pm. I don't like suppressing systems. cheers, Rob. |
