The rica e-power remap is deffinetly also responsible but can also compound an previous error.
I want to be sure every possibility is checked before i want remap adjustments etc

I didnt knew the "software" needs to be redone? i tought it was just a setting that needs to be altered?
The software just allows the injector numbers to be entered into the ecu , it doesnt do anything else . No idea how it would affect non genuine ecu software though!

If the numbers arent adjusted in the ECM the engine could be running less smooth
The rica remap could compound this with timing advances etc.

Any idea where in the vida menu to look for the injector nr and adjustment?

this is all asumptions, you do not no that for sure. as Clan says you can only do limited testing on Vida without going into changing parts and also assuming that the previose owner had not had it done correctly. can you take the RICA map off.

it may be some other part that is causing your issues rather than the injectors whats the mileage on the car

Ofcourse they are (partly) assumptions, but you have to start somewhere
The rica remap made it all worse and that is not an assumption
Symptomes before remap where not that worse but i found it not ideal either
Maybe im biassed about smooth engines because i only drove 6 cilinder inline engines before. And that is as smooth as they get even diesels
Just checking if the correct parameters are administered is not that far off the logic regarding the symptoms.
Also checking if the injectors are not overadjusting against their limits is a good way to start instead of blindly replace injectors.

Mike & others

Tried to do a cilinder balance test in VIDA ,but it didnt worked out
When you press start to do the test then after a few seconds its stated its finished, but their are no numbers or outcomes and no faultcodes that something is wrong.
You hear a slight change in engine noise when its trying to do the test.

Whats wrong here?

The vida version was not an official one and he will try to do the test on an other diesel to rule out if the problem is in that version or not
Or could it be that the rica remap is the problem? any experiences with the test with remaps?

Also i couldnt look up the programmed nr of the injectors
i consulted the repair injectors , and at the and of the manual its referring to some software update .
But i just wanted to see the programmed nr's

In the mean time i will perform a physical injector leaktest any idea's besides the leak differences what the ideal amount of return diesel should be at idle for example during a minute?

this is what you should have got when you did the test. the leak of test can be done for 1 min or 10 min as long as you get a nominal ammount so that you can compare each pot see pic this was done after 4 min.the second pic is the tst on vida on the same car as yours
