Not sure it does make sense Clan. I looked at my MY2015 XC60 on that schedule and the Auxiliary belt is changed every year or every 18,000 miles after the second year. Please don't tell me it is.

That isn't what is being said - 108,000 miles over 6 years is 18,000 miles per year and it is at the 6 year or 108,000 point the belt needs changing NOT at 18,000 miles.

No it's not ,, The Aux.belt gets changed every 54000 * miles with a new tensioner every other aux belt belt change with the cambelt .

*( or every 36000 miles depending on engine number ! )

Exactly. That's what it should say but after the first 2 years it's listed every year for the XC60 D5. Hence the reason I think it doesn't always work correctly.

all that has sent me off to get out the invoices for my last 2 services (one being just under 2 years and 35500 miles the other being just under 3 years and 53500 miles) to see if the aux belt was changed.....

invoice says "full 54,000 miles service" then in the part it lists "belt £28.90" so assume that is the Auxiliary belt that has been replaced as it should.

the D4 is a 5 cylinder Diesel so needs an Aux.belt every 54000 miles … ( Not 36000)

Mine was changed at the last service which was the 3yr or 54,000 mile service although the car only had 36,000 on the clock at the time.

It's a D5 2015 XC60
