Hopefully these paint a better picture of the condition of the car.

@ s.hammond
city driving won't be an issue, you just need to keep off the loud pedal and save that turbo whistle for the open road :P
thanks for those looks much better in these! when my 850 went in for a service at shipham motor group they loaned me a 940 turbo se estate and that was brilliant in the city just left it in 4th uphill downhill it didn't matter these have some much guts, it got to a point where i wanted to swap with them! so much easier to drive than the 850! i'll will ring in abit to sort out dates and times, just abit sore at the moment..................

Hi matt,
i'm going to pass up on this as it's too close to christmas and i really want a 2.3 turbo which i'll get next year.

Keep at it i'm sure someone will buy it as it looks like a real cracker for not a lot of money.

all the best.
simon.

Unbelievable that this hasn't sold!

What's the mileage? (if it hasn't already been mentioned)

Hi Tim,

Yeah I'm bit surprised too, maybe people are waiting until payday lol.
It's showing 107,000miles on the clock (whether these are genuine miles I cannot confirm). It certainly drives well and is very quiet.

Dad to the rescue lol!

I think a lot of people look for the 2.3 as they have more power stock though according to turbobricks.com the 2.0 is just as tunable but just starts from a lower base hp.

I'm guessing the 2.0 must have a stronger block too being a smaller piston (not that I've ever heard of a piston going sideways out of a redblock).

i'll be honest i never realised dgj (shiphams loan 940) was a 2.0 and i took that from bristol to fareham via weymouth with a impending headgasket failure! and i raced a alfa 156 down the m27 and kept up with it and managed 27mpg! i loved that volvo i didn't keep it that quite either. (now broken for spares)
yours so cheap it'll be rude to pass up on it! i have to get out this halewood dustbin!!! it's mainly the wife that's getting the way she just doesn't understand!!!!
hopefully i'll have good news for you, anyway i'm in southampton from the 28th 29th november. do i sound desperate enough yet?

volvo forever!

So what are you currently driving?
Please do let me know how things pan out.

Bear in mind that Chichester is another 45-60mins drive from Southampton ;-)

I'm not too sure about the revs on the 2.0 I guess it must be a bit quicker lol
