So is it going to be a hard pipe with silicone at each end? If that's the case you could easily make that yourself with straight pipe and two angled silicone ends.!!?

Just a suggestion, should contact a crowd called Badger 5.

Big in the VAG world and his TIP's consistently deliver notable gains, 8bhp on my standard Audi 8L S3.

Custom made numbers, google is best but found he now has an EBay shop - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-BADG...item1c2a7a58f2

Check out anticipated price from OP - somewhere between £80 to £100. The link above is near enough £180!!! Think I know where my money would be going....!

I use to have a audi s3 and had a badger5 on it. It was a good bit of kit and sounded lovely on the s3 but including the filter and heat shield I was over £250+ which looking back was silly money to spend on a intake

Hopefully next week sometime I should have the first one delivered and I can then see what it is like, quality, more description and get some photos and also book in before and after rolling road as well.

Like I said guys, just a suggestion, the T4 TIP looked simpler so though it would be cheaper to produce than the VAG number.

There are 3 or 4 revisions for the KO3s / KO4 lump now, pretty sure they are cheaper to buy direct and a good bit cheaper group buys.

The ebay site must be taking in ebay / paypal fees and single sales.

Were around the £120 mark for the TIP when I got mine.

I'd be interested depending on price etc.

Would there any differences in application between phase 1/2 T4/2.0T etc?

I'm not a 100% sure on that hopefully someone who has good knowledge of these cars will come along and answer that for you.

If the standard intake part is the same through out the models it should fit them all. Mines is a phase 1 and the pipe I sent him is from a phase one.

Still waiting on the first one to come to me at the moment I have been chasing up the fabricator and the company who is custom making the silicone ends are the hold up at the moment. They have been closed over most of the holidays so not helping with quickness.

Hopefully have the first one soon and then I can get it fitted, see if there is any problems or issues with it and then test out what difference it makes
