ouch, gutted! my old girl was still on the road when i got rid but every single bushing etc underneath was knackered (rear subframe alone would have beein the biggest pain in the ar*se to do on it's own) and although she still drove ok she needed some money spending on her and i was offered the v40 by my father in law at mates rates and was to good an offer to pass on especially considering the beemer had don 230,000 miles!!!!!

I too have had Honda Vtecs, namely Accord Type R, loved the car, didn't like the £350 a month petrol bill. Bought the v40, although cant get my CBR in the back. I really want an ST diesel Mondeo, speedy enough and cheap to run around in and as i say maybe keeping the V40 as a toy. Although it woud only be the engine and running gear i'd keep, throw the body away and stick it all in a Phase 2 S40 and track it!!!! haha

Although i could put my engine into a kit car???? Hmmmm!!!! There are always more uses Tony, dont get rid, recycle, the government are pushing that agenda at the mo. haha

a t4 kit car - i like the sound of that

close frien of mine scares the hell out of me in this, don't know what you call it but it's a ford chassis with a 2L focus zetec engine in it.
