2004 V70 T5 SE
Known as the flying / rocket propelled armchair
A greenish colour
45k
Cream leather
Geartronic
IMIV adaptor for the HU
Boot liner for the dogs

Oh, and a cracked mirror housing on the passenger side where I hit the garage door reversing out.

I won't for obvious post the maximum speed I have reached in this but I will say that I have had the fuel gauge reporting 5.6 MPG

What is an "IMIV adaptor for the HU?".
Is the figure at the top of your post 1.2million miles that the car has done?
It is obvious that the garage door was not fitted correctly!

Bought with 10k miles now 128k miles
Standard 250bhp (or whats left)
Manual
Metallic Light blue
Removeable Tow bar
All mod cons.
Never missed a beat, never ceases to amaze.

toying with upgrades but is it worth it at this mileage?

Hi Jonathon.
YES.
I say this perfunctually. It depends on the condition.
You wish for what sort of upgrades. Engine, performance, pretty body ( like Alicia Silverstone; once voted one of the worlds most beautiful women) or what?
Is it 2300cc or 2401cc ? Either is very fast car.

I have 2005 Ex Plod, V70 T5. Holes all over it for all their equipment. Not a problem. The performance is amazing, as you know.
Now repainting her bumper inserts etc.

Never missed a beat???

Keep her, and keep her well serviced.

Change her and you never know what you end up with.

Better the Devil you know.

Brakes,
suspension,
Driveshafts,
Wheels,
bushes,
fueling,
Camber Angles,
Engine, chipped etc.
Running 307bhp.... Need more. There is a skyline down the road from me that can keep up...

Thanks for that gives me more confidence in doing something.
I was thinking of a remap to start with, and take it from there?
Keeping it all under the bonnet and not conspicuous is the aim, no doubt exhaust system and air filter will have to follow - or is that the first thing to do?

Runs like a dream and has never let me down. She managed 35.2 mpg on a 500 mile trip to Ayr with two adults 2 kids and the boot overflowing.

Also s60 ts 2.0 turbo with s/s exhaust and remap
These are my firsts Volvos and the T5-R what a machine!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ive owned plenty turbo cars like subarus saabs rover vitesses
But none of them like the T5-R.
Plus everyone calls mine the hearse lol
