Standard 19" tyres.
Continental Contact - but not checked the exact spec.

Also OnCall was disabled (Expired) with No PIN to register - and apparently leasing companies are reluctant to release the PIN code. As it's now standard in the MY19 (No Subscription), hopefully that won't be an issue.

Also it seems that to obtain a 30 day VE103B (to take the car abroad), I need to apply 7-10 days in advance. Bang goes the impulsive "Let's go to France tomorrow"! OK only ever done that twice - but still....

Morning all,

I ordered a new T5 R design on the 19th Aug and was told I should have the car before the end of the year. Only got a couple of options on it, rear camera, smartphone and BLIS.

I was expecting a ETA date by now from the dealers, but keep getting told it's not on the system yet. Seems a bit strange to me that they can't get anything from Volvo yet. Does anyone know if this is normal? It'l be four weeks since ordering, this Sunday.

Delivery dates determination sounds an occult science.

For a T8 order 3 weeks ago, delivery date was for beginning of January. A new order now is for end of March… (just 3 weeks later, more than 2 months diference).

Same to me, waiting from 8 weeks ago. Ordered middle of July, indication that should still be delivery in 2018. But until now, no build date so still no ETA. From what I understood, after creating the order it should remain in a status "Waiting for approval" meaning that still waiting for a build slot in the factory. Only after that there is a real date. That was my understanding, I dont' know it it's correct.

Ordered 2nd July, changed the engine 6th July (dealer ordered another car), added another option 31st July

Received by dealers yesterday

They also have the original car I ordered on display for sale (they also had an R design on display ready for sale)

Hoping delivery next week

NB noted Momentum Pros 18 inch has Continental EcoContact tyres

Got a call today my car will be ready on 24th of this month, was ordered 4th August so that's pretty impressive.

Paul. That’s a pretty fast ordering cycle so presume the dealer was able to modify one already in his order bank.

What car was it - perhaps add it to your user signature to help with any future forum postings?

Got a call from the dealers today with an ETA of 30th November.

So just over 3 months from ordering on the 19th August.

It's a XC60 T5 Momentum, Osmium Grey with a blond interior. The dealer did say he'd managed to get one that had already been specced for another branch.

Tried to add to my signature but hasn't appeared yet, maybe on my next post
