Wife gets 33 to 34 mpg poodling around the villages.

I get 38 - 40 mpg on long runs with the wife.

I get sub-30 when I am on my own

I've had my 2013 XC60 D5 AWD Geartonic since the beginning of April. I've done approx. 2700 miles and do a mix of motorway, dual carriageway, A & B road driving.

If I drive it hard, using the Sport mode for quicker acceleration, I get about 33-34 on average. If I drive at 70ish on the motorway and take it steadyish on other roads I average about 36-37.

I checked tyre pressure yesterday, and they appeared quite low compared to stated values on decal inside driver door. I've Inflated to recommended so will see if it makes any noticeable difference over next few weeks.

Your above mpg figures are about same as mine averaged over 20,000 miles if that is any use...!!
