New Sensus update

Did the Gracenote update, then went back to download new apps and TuneIn was available to download.
Happy now, as long as Sensus does not crash again.

What is the quickest / easiest way to tell whether a car has Sensus 2 as opposed to 1??!!

If the icons on the start screen are on the left you have Sensus 2

I don't believe this is the case, I think its just a major revision in the evolution of the software. I don't believe they will be maintaining the older look Sensus, so any car that gets a software update should get the new interface.

My reply above was to the question around Pilot Assist 2 as per the quote which is paid and not included in the Sensus upgrade, you are correct the Sensus is a free upgrade

On the contrary, I believe all earlier Pilot Assist are upgraded to Assist 2 when Sensus is upgraded.

I could be wrong but the odds are small.

I also may be wrong but my dealer confirmed an upgrade from PA1 to PA2 would have a £300 cost when I enquired (luckily I already had PA2 in my MY17). Lots of forums out there discussing this:

So I have Sensus 1 still, despite the stealer assuring me that I had 'all the software updates' when I collected it under two weeks ago, (in response to my written question the day before). By useless!
