It was a hectic day: a wedding in the bid old Citroen where the bride was extraordinarily late followed by a good few more hours working on the bodywork of the Amazon Estate

So I wheeled old Mrs. Beamish out for the first time after winter hibernation. She started right up - I hook up a trickle charger - but the old car leaks from everywhere including the clutch master cylinder so after a little bleeding session and a check over, out to daylight:

Straight out into the wash bay:

I had the most excellent drive down through the Exe Valley. This car NEVER fails to bring a huge smile to my face and a thrill every mile:

Up in the woods:

AMMA,

On the picture of your instruments, what is the red triangle? Also, what does the "W=064" mean? My panel has none of these.

Interesting. Mine has that as well. Often wondered what they meant.

Germany addicted, the triangle is speed limit in town: 50 km/h ca. 31mls/h The w 0.64 is revolution/1000m The sence is to find the right gear in Transmission for the speedo. 640 rounds/ 1000m (0.62mls)

To Robert's pics: I don't like double and triple posting of the same pics. That's it.
This is not "the only real one" company site. Too much advertising in my mind.
nice car the Volvo-X anyway.
regards, Kay

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and posting it is okay too. There are moderators on here and I expect they are 'listening.'

Mine is... I haven't seen Robert truly advertising anything for a long time. By that I mean you would have to go quite far back on his thread to see he has anything for sale. I know there were some objections earlier-on and he trimmed back his sales-pitch. I for one would have sunk a ton of cash on his upgrades if my Estate wasn't just finished. I consider what he does a service for Amazon owners (as well as probably a lot of fun), and applaud him for it. Oh - except for the decals, but come-on.

Our other Robert on here (123GT) is also in the business of fixing-up amazons, btw. Is he self-promoting?? Maybe a little, but I don't think-so. Good on him if sharing his adventures brings him some business tho. Same with Volvo Special Ops, its an adventure and I'm glad to be a part of it.
