I bought it from my dealer, but it is not a Volvo product. You can buy it at any time.

I apologise for the delay in getting back to your query. When trying to add a order into the app to track it, a VIN number is required. I have looked into your order and since it is a built to order, it does not have a VIN number just yet.

However, the updates you get from us regarding your order, would be more accurate than the app. Even though the app will provide you with updates on the delivery process however there are a few issues with it displaying the correct information so the most accurate way to follow the order is to await our updates.

Please let me know if you have further questions, I would be more than happy to help.

I placed an XC60 order mid-September and the only update I've had was an email from the dealer saying that delivery had gone back from early December to end January.

I ordered an XC90 on 27 September. I received an email titled “Your new Volvo XC90” a week ago, with a link to track the order. On logging in, the status was showing as production complete 28 September (see attached) which clearly wasn’t correct as it was a factory order and not from stock currently available. Dealer confirmed it’s not built yet and won’t be until 2024. So none the wiser, but it’s early days.

Current Volvo offers end today. What will we get next? I've gone through 60,000 miles now on mine so am a prime target. What will they do to get me to have another?

I pulled the trigger on one when the offer started.

Ours has done 111k miles (MY16 car) so felt the time was right (our mk1 had done the same sort of miles when we replace it (MY10).

Was happy enough with the deal done. Slight shame I hadn't felt the need to push the button last September, but was focusing on my toys then

I wonder of offers will ease up as the EX90 gets closer...and thereafter will depend on how the EX90 does.

One 'We are currently seeking to purchase quality Volvos'

and the other

'You have been selected to receive a manufacturer upgrade on your current vehicle.

This selection means that you have been chosen along with only a limited number of drivers to get a substantial financial support package to upgrade to a brand new Volvo or approved used Selekt model'

So I'd guess there's and end of year sales push going on, have to be very good to get me to buy another as I already have the best they have to offer and I don't need two or a need to change. I could perhaps buy an EX30 but can't imagine there's any offer of note on that.

I'm wondering if I might run mine to about 100k miles as I do like the car a lot. That will be late 2026 when the new car landscape is likely to be very different. XC90 will be gone by then I guess which will be a shame but it has been a great car for Volvo.
