My battery died recently and I have no code for my radio - it is the SC-801 radio/tape model:

I've lost the code for my SC-800, is it possible to calculate it some how?
The labels on the top says:
Model: 3533441
D.M. 25/6/85-27/8/87
NO. 2/02631/15602

On the bottom it's stamped: S/NO. AL3441R0726630
B40726630G

i rang rufe(simon) for radio codes 01792 790066 / 01792 784272 weekdays 9-5....they rung me back 2 hours later with the code for free...

Dear all,
I am sorry to trouble you all with this minor issue but I am the proud owner of a P reg V40 and the battery sadly died leaving me without a Radio which now needs decoding. It is the standard radio. I would be eternally grateful if some could assist.

hi rufe, Tried PMing you also tried to find your email but no luck, hoping you can help me with a radio code for my sc-805, serial number VO0690 22189022G, the number at the top of the sticker is 3533775-1, i've asked volvo for the code from the reg but it wasn't the right one and have been chasing it but no one seems to be able to help me. I've had a different volvo with the same problem and had no troubles getting the code, but now i'm getting the run around, being passed from department to department, my local dealer even gave me volvo warranty dept. number and they couldn't help, so if you can i would be most appreciative as driving with no music is unbearable at times, specially with me having to go to a hospital 70 miles away every week.

*EDIT* rang your work but you where off but the guy gave it me in 2 minutes, Didn't get his name but thank you so much more helpful then my local one
