New Sensus update - Page 13

To say that it is cosmetic is probably only scratching the surface. Sure, there are some really good cosmetic changes that not only make it look better but arrange things so that they are more easily accessible and easier to see relevant information, especially on the map screens. More importantly it seems to have banished bugs in the system, especially the one where the car location was lost or misplaced during navigation. I've not had a hint of a glitch since the update. Everything's good.

As Quacker I have not had a problem with sensus since mine was upgraded they also did a camera recalibration as I felt the car hung to far left with PA2, much better now - more central in the lane.

I 'think' the start/stop is working a little more intelligently. I realise this is not part of the Sensus update, but as that comes with a total software update you don't necessarily know what else you get.

For me, the Sensus interface still needs some more work on it - the hopeful thing is that Volvo will develop if further, well maybe until it is replaced with the Google version in a couple of years (and whether that will be available for our cars remains to be seen.)

Just had ours done. Not much chance to test it. OH prefers the old one.

The reverse camera mode is better laid out IMO, but that's been the most noticeable change for me thus far.

Has anyone had PA2 installed as a general update? Or do you have to pay for it?

Anyone know if the UK version still allows the surround camera to come on automatically when reversing.

Did you have PA1 to start with? I assume you didn't get PA2 as part of the update.

I haven't got the update but someone on here reported that the surround camera still works as before.

Surround camera still works as original here. I think the USA, for some peculiar reason, demand that only the rear camera comes on by default when reverse is selected. Thank goodness, Volvo haven't forced that change on us in the UK yet. Probably not in the rest of Europe either.
