As far as I'm aware, all the bodykit parts (except perhaps the front spoiler) are now no longer available. The skirts are the same ones available for the 740. Ryan has a set of aftermarket copies on his 740 (partnered with 740-specific pieces front and rear).

cheers

James

Hi SE,

Just in case you are interested, I took my Silver Sports Edition to the OC (Orwell Crossing) meet today, and you can glimpse it in a few pics posted up by the OC boys.

Looks very nice, is the car not supposed to have a rear roof mounted spoiler though?

Hi Ton,

Yes they did indeed come with a tailgate spoiler, however there isn't one on mine and no sign of one ever being fitted, either it was ordered without one (cant see why though?) or it's had another tailgate?

The Black one I picked up doesn't have one either but you can clearly see where it was, the brackets are still there too.

I know why there isn't a cargo net (steel guard) on the black one, as it has the 7 seater conversion, and Volvo insisted this was removed if the Folding seats where in use as means of another escape route for kids in rear seat.

My sports has the seven seats and the dog guard, Volvo only recomend you remove it when you are using the seven seats, it would still be fitted, but the owner would be told about removing the guard when the seats are in use. You can also lift it up to the roof and secure it there as well, so leaving it in when the seats are used. I could do with one of your brackets as mine is missing one.

I think sonyericsson was looking for a set of brackets for his spoiler of you did not plan on using them

What sort of money are they wanting for it, as with the Galaxys and the grill and such, it may well be worth it, as well as having the black paint.
Hi SE

I think it is you that bought my sport from scooters? If so I uprated the rear lamps so she has rear fog lights on both sides. Hope she is still going well been thinking of selling my manual R and getting another 940

Yes it is me that got your old one, and she is going very well. Thanks for the info on the rear fogs, my dealer had not heard of the two rear fogs, but there again the lad I spoke to had never heard of a sports edition either, and he has been there 15 yrs, never spoke to him before but didnt seem too clued up on the older stuff. Manual R's are very nice, but I do like my sports, just something about the older ones.
