I'm not sure about the registration fee and road tax, I'd be interested to know that myself.
But the delivery fee is £455 (at least mine is), is compulsory and will be included in your final price. May I ask you; in what way are you trying to unravel the pricing? My dealer has given me very clearly laid out printed order form, clearly showing each element of the order and what it cost. |

Brochure prices!
The 2.4 D4 I have ordered and wanted will clearly not be able to be supplied to me now as the engine size has changed considerably .So I presume eventually some re negotiations will be necessary when the final specifications and prices lists are officially produced for the D3 XC60
I have been quoted on the 2.4 XC60 list prices as in the last 17.5% vat brochure less discount plus delivery charge and plus road tax /first registration charge I am wondering if they were in the original brochure price anyway especially the delivery charge |

No. Tax, registration and delivery charge (also the fact that unless you want a white car the paint will set you back another £600) are not mentioned in the brochure.

I am not sure what you are getting at here as the last column in the price list is clearly labelled "on the road" and includes delivery & road tax etc.
Unfortunately there is a new first year increased road tax government charge on all registrations from the 1st April which you will presumably need to pay and if it is a new order then the price list is for My2010 cars & not My2011. Anything could change in the budget next Wednesday. We are all waiting for the My2011 price list! |

I wonder if the dealer has included paint/interior protection in the quote - when I was looking at offers this time last year, at least one dealer did this, and only admitted to it when I pointed out his starting price (before discount) was a few hundred pounds higher than the other dealers' prices.

Depending on when you ordered it, I suspect it may not include showroom tax which comes into force soon.
