Sorry I've just seen this. I'm afraid it's gone. For info there are different modules for the electro and hydro mechanical mechanisms. The change over to electro was sometime in 2012.

The door does not rise after click?

All sorts of lock clicks go on but tailgate remains resolutely shut fast, no movement at all.

I would guess that your lock is shot but given that all of the parts for these $&@ tailgates are so expensive it will be worth your while to head in to dealership to get the codes read before throwing me any parts at it.
