Even if you spend so much.... they don't necessarily give the right codes all the time. Strictly speaking a vct2000 or dice will do the job properly.

I just won an EU702 from ebay for £100 but it is mainly to reset my SRS

This is to both enable and disable DRLs
- Turn the headlight switch to position .
- Turn the ignition key in position II.
- Pull the turn signal lever towards you and hold it while turning the headlight switch to position 0.

On the phase 2, you set the light switch to the sidelight bosition, pull the stalk back, for full beam and while holding it toward you, turn the light switch to the off position and let go of the full beam stalk. The DRL's will now be on, if off before, or vice versa.

I am sure it is the same on the phase 1.

Default HATES??? hmmm

I always wanted a T4 since I bought a 1999 1.8 with no service history an 83k on clock, I ran it for 43k and it never missed a heartbeat, so when this T4 came up for sale with FVSH and 1 owner (doctor) and 78k on clock I had to have it, but so far: Reliability!

Engine Piston Rings re-done at 83k
Shock absorber went 85k
Fuel Pressure Regulator 100k never worked properly since day 1
Pads and Discs all round,
Replace Thermostat,
Gearbox seals needed replacing 90k,
Engine Management light having a mind of its own,
I hate the way I'm on my 3rd Aeriel, and its broke,
Rust, Rust, Rust.
and any parts are main dealer only cos the hassle you get from fitting non-gen parts is ridiculous, I've had my Off-Side Wheel off about 16 times since the guy who did the gearbox seals dropped the drive shaft down the pit splitting the CV gaitor which he forgot to mention.
£69.99 to get codes read/cleared at volvo specialist and the labour costs they charge is astronomical
Fuel consumption is 10mpg less than the review I read on the internet.
I paid top dollar for this car, £2600 (1k more than others of similar spec on sale

this car is one of if not the main reason I split with the girlfriend.

However, you try take this car off me I will kill you. lol. 200bhp is intoxicating especially when it looks like a sheep.

- Wildly inaccurate fuel gauge
- Lack of the low fuel warning light actually lighting when you have little/no fuel
- Running out of fuel despite showing just under quarter of a tank
- the infuriating and quite dangerous internal reflections of the dash onto the windscreen
- the fact the main lights come on as standard and you have to remember to switch them to just the running lights, only to forget when you park up. So its usually a case of forget to switch from full lights to running lights: increase fuel consumption, or, forget to switch the lights off when parking up and possibly not starting in the morning due to a flat/low battery...Actually, scrap that one, I just discovered how to 'set them proper'..
- power steering is too senstive/provide too much power, effectively killing all grip/cornering feedback from the front wheels. Plus you only need to hiccup and the steering wobbles..
- low visibility through the back when reversing
- treetrunk like thick a-pillars
- it only takes a couple hours driving before the cd player overheats. Now this is extremely bad engineering, I could understand if it was an after market stereo, but when its the volvo one, built for the damn thing, you'd think they'd get one that either didn't overheat, or at least route some cold air to it.....
- its not a T5
- oh, and that you can't run the stereo without the keys in the ignition
- and that the saloon isn't hatch like the 440 was.
- electrical gremlins
- bland looks in comparison to the later styled volvos with the nice looking nose
- despite being a tank it has no turret/grenade launchers/big guns etc..
