Question: Does it matter if I fit a phase 1 bumper to a phase 2 V40 ??
I think the wing make the difference, not an easy job to make it work.

Thumbs up

Thanks, although I will need to check the postage as I'm in Germany.
Best I could find was a new but unpainted one for 180 Euros.

I saw them the other day whilst looking for a side skirt which has broken on mine and needs replacing but that's a warmer weather job. I can't see it costing a awful lot more to post to Germany cheaper than buggering about spraying things or not having the correct bumper. Germany isint too far as the crow flies. You could always ask him to take out the bar for you if youres is alright and not bent, make the postage cheaper.

Cool Too big for sensible shipping from the UK.

Just got a reply from the Fleabay used parts dealer (The one in the link from Kieran above) that said they can't find a courier that will take front bumpers to Jerryland.

Now I'm looking at this ABS one for 160 Euros delivered:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/Volvo-S40-V40...IAAOSwYaFWeX6f

No point painting it, as it looks OK in plastic grey and would only get scratched again anyway.

I asked her how come she didn't see the rock and she said it was hiding besides the tree next to the post office.

PS: I don't know of any real trees near our post office, so I just asked her again and she confessed she ran over a small pine tree before hitting the rock, which she acused of hiding almost under the tree!

I know it does'nt help you, last year me and GF had a couple of jaunts over to the continent, Belgium, Netherlands, Cologne and Luxembourg. The only jaunt we've got booked at the moment is Bulgaria which we're flying to. I do intend driving to the continent again but no firm plans as to when/where or I would offer to bring it over the channel and meet up somewhere Skyship
