The route via Hutton le Hole sounds like a great drive, done that one before and you do get some spectacular views.
What's this i hear about Peterlee? I'm only 10 mins from there.

Don't worry about minor details like that, mine has plenty of stone chips and also requires rear bumper work.............................................. ............. Don't let the shiney car people put you off, LOL.

P.S. v40 was the most shiney, didn't realise until i got home the right hand side of my face had sunburn from standing next to it, twas like some giant piece of tin foil !

That's great, did the garage put it right ? one day when you have time take the whell arch liner off the passenger side front and see what kind of restriction is on the other end of that pipe might be as well removing it before K&N filter and chip happen. (if it means romoving it entirely run a cold air pipe to the box via the same route)

Must try harder, gave the XC a coat of Autoglym before i popped over, oh well.
Nice to see so much interest in NE meets.
ps the Wife, sorry my other half, quite likes the alloys.
