I am 58 years young and retired due to ill health.
I was also a police trained driver up to seven years ago and an advanced motorists instructor.
Retired peaople should definitely be allowed on the roads during rush hour as long as the competence is there to do it, and i am sure a lot of older drivers could teach the youngsters a few things.

Default Old people driving

If Mr Brown had instituted Petrol rationing instead of taxing us to the hilt you would have found that everyone would be driving much slower and carefully in order to eke out their ration of precious fuel. There would have been less pollution and less accidents. Motoring would have been cheaper for us all. The supermarkets would not have had centralised warehouses as they could not have obtained the fuel for the armies of lorries.
In consequence our food would have had to be sourced locally, fresher food , local slaughter houses. Life would have been better for all.
If only politicians told the truth!

what does that have to do with old people? plus, it means no ones would be able to have fun in there cars, which is what motoring enthusiasts want to do (safely obviously).
