Default Removable towbar and safety cable

I have the Westfalia removable towbar and am wondering how others are attaching the safety cable of their caravan/trailer?
There are no fixed attachments on this towbar to safely attach the cable.
In Holland we would fit something like in the attached picture (to the towbar), but cannot seem to buy these in the UK?

Cool break away cable!!

hi i have also the same problem i was thinking of getting a ring welded to the bar underneath but dont know if that would hold or i have a carabina whick i might hose clip to the bar underneath , at the moment im just putting it round the detachable part of the tow bar but if it is that that falls off im screwed ,i thought of the holes in the spare wheel but i was woried it might damage it ,i also would be interested in a solution or fix to this problem cheers gary

I had another look under the car earlier and there is nothing to attach the cable to. The bracket in my picture fits onto towbar itself, so as you say, if the bar falls off it will not be of much use.
In reality though in 99% of the cases the trailer coupling will come off the towbar and not the whole towbar...
