Other 70 Problem: 2006 V70 2.4D S sunroof wont tilt

Folks,

First post to the forum - I have just purchased a 2006 V70 2.4D S. It our first Volvo and it's just fantastic!

I have a small problems with the sunroof - as per title it won't tilt. However it does slide back - its not a big thing but would love to have it working if possible.

I have searched the forums and found issues with sunroofs not working at all - so this is sort of unusual.

I have seen some entries mentioning a lock/ unlock sequence and have tried this to reset electronics?? But it didn't appear to do anything.

Open to suggestions/ ideas,

Small update - i have tried the UEM reset from the following link:

however it didn't seem to make any difference.

The sunroof retracts back to about 4/5 of the way and then i have to retry the switch to move it bak completely - so not sure if this is significant in the problem.

Mines does the same when moving it back but tilt is ok.

Any chance you know if the UEM reset is different to the one above for the 2006 V70 models?
