If you're after the impact box within the bumper it's servicable but I'm not willing to split it from the bumper. If you mean the actual hard points on the car below the tail lights....it's pretty good, but I'm not cutting it off, you'd have to come up and do it yourself, I don't have the equipment to separate it from the car.
On holiday when you replied:-

I'm after the whole rear bumper metal cross member that sits the full width of the car behind the plastic rear bumper cover. (Not the metal that the rear clusters sit on top of).

If you still have the part, could you advise how much rust there is if you have taken off the car along with the rear bumper cover ?

Thanks

There's a fair bit on the impact box, if that's what you mean. I still don't know what you mean.

I want the pair gone. £30 for both isn't unreasonable.

Surprised no one has gone for the rear bumper , the metal backing plate is £240 to 270 +vat new from volvo dealers and you will need one sooner or later as they are very prone to rust. This is well worth the purchase price

Then you can split the rear bumper into bits and keep the rear plate.

I have a spare already and as the name suggests am miles away over Hadrians Wall .

The rear bumper crossmember \ impact box \ WTF you want to call it is pretty knackered upon closer inspection:

I still don't think £30 is unreasonable for the pair of bumpers.

Sack it.

I think I'll saw the bumpers up tonight and take photos for you all. Won't that be fun!
