Lambda light? Sorry not very mechanically inclined about this car lol but I know its the inline 6 model

I would go with the Cat diagnosis and it is easy to confirm. I have known of a few cases where the crud from the Cat has blown into the rest of the system as well. So if the test shows its the Cat and after replacement the problem persists then likely be the rest of the exhaust. Good luck.

What he said sounds good.

Lambda light is the one to the left on your dash, a green triangle with an inverted y, on an orange background.

It's there to warn of engine running problems, otherwise known as an emmissions light.

No there are no emissions lights on at all... Just my check engine light which gave me a code of 2-3-1 which im thinking is being thrown by the fuel pump... but not sure

Smile Fuel filter

Part blocked filter will cause lean mix electronics can throw engine light this is common prob on 960 filters need changing on service interval bosch seem to last bit longer lack of top end power gives hint
