Default 144 Battery Size

Hi Guys,

This should be an easy fix for you guys to work out, what size battery should be in a 144?

It has come back from the restorers knackered, so I need a new one. Problem is mine came with something which definitely wasn't the right one, therefore I can't just buy another one like that.

Thanks you for all help.

Rich, I answered you message before I saw your post. Mine is an 069 battery.

Hope that helps.

Oh, I meant to say, that we got a 069 battery to fit, but we had to sand it down to make it fit inside the tray.

Luckily with use of an electronic sander we were able to take enough off the battery's lip to make it fit properly.

It would depend on whether or not it has a bracket fitted.

When these cars came to Australia they were fitted with brackets to accommodate smaller batteries. I have removed the one on my car.
