  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

You are quite correct about the price of the 164 on EBay - £2750 is the classified ad price - my mistake.

A big thank you to Paul for putting me in touch with Rod Court. Rod gave me a tour of his 164E (only 35k from new!) and then we had a drive. This was extremely useful.

Hi again Nigel - thanks for mention, PM re Mark sent. Personally I'd be very tempted by the 164E on ebay, so much so that I'd probably go and take a look. However, the gold one at the auction house used to be a magnificent car, so if it still is, that would be a worthwhile look too.
However, the ebay one could have all your suspension worries sorted by an enthusiastic owner rather that it all just hanging together with somebody who through health reasons can't keep up with the maintenance now.
A difficult choice, hence you really need to see both
