Remote used whilst engine running

Hi - Im running an `99 S40

I`m afraid the remote was used to lock up there car ( from outside )whilst the engine was still running ( with the other key ) - now the drivers door dosent lock anymore from outside with the remote ( all other doors do ) - but it does look as if its locked ( lucky in some ways ) as the button is down the same as all the other doors that are locked

any help appreciatted - thank you

if the button is down then its probably the linkage fell off inside the door

The remote should be disabled when the ignition is on ... strange ...

Yes - good point about the linkage possibly - as it is seen to wobble s though it wants to come up ,but cant - will have a go at removing door card perhaps ( eeeek ! )
