Looks good. reason for asking is that I haven't seen a dashboard with just the external temperature gauge before - was that stock or did you fit it?

Normally that display is either blanked off or linked to an info centre (showing estimated mpg, miles left to tank is empty etc.) which sounds costly to retrofit, but I'd be happy just knowing the temperature if it's a cheap mod or retrofit...

3x LEDs & 430 ohm resistors
LED 5MM CLR BLU 2500MCD from jaycar, product ID: ZD0180
These were for the clock, odometer and outside temp. A bit of soldering the resistor to a leg of the LED and bending back and jammed into the bulb socket
cool! same as me! nice one matey

i love the look, took me a while to find the right one to give a proper coverage behind the dials.

regards

The outside temp gauge is stock. I don't have the info centre. I believe the thermostat is mounted near the front of the bonnet.

Thanks to btsam, I was wanting to change my dials to blue and with the help of your experience, I got it right first go. I'll post some photos of the LED's I used and how I soldered it with the resistor, but I have to get around to taking it back out again.

For the clock, odo and temp gauge, I had to paint the top of the LED, otherwise there was a focused/concentrated area of light.
