Alarm
Bought a remote for my 940.Could anyone direct me to the page I need to re-code it for my car? Thanks

Thanks. Tried and have now found the alarm isn't switched on, either fuse has blown or been removed by previous owner. I'll have to locate the fuse. Thanks again.

The fuse for the noisy bit of the system, and also the bit of the system that immobilises the car, is Number 5. If it is removed the alarm doesn't work, and IIR neither do the clock or the courtesy lights...
Speaks the voice of experience, most recently yesterday morning when I forgot I'd use the remote to lock the Valdez when returning from work.

I have checked the wiring harness behind the glovebox and that is still connected, the courtesy lights still work, so I assume the fuse is ok, but still there is no lights on the alarm module. Any other ideas of where the power may be stopped from reaching the module?
