Default Rear Wheel Camber

Hi Guys

I have terrible wear on the inside edge on my rear tyres . I get through a pair in 9000 miles , looking at the back of my car the camber seems to be quite alot ( about 5 degrees ).

Is it possible to alter the amount of camber to help stop the amount of wear i'm getting - i have had a look but can't see anything to adjust.

My Car is a S40 diesel 05 Plate

Any help would be a great help!!!!

Thanks

indeed it is , but it is likely to be toe in which is wrong , you need a 4 wheel align ...

Hi
One the inner end of the tie rod there is a esentric washer that controls the amount of camber. But you will need a alignment jig to set it up properly. You can get a rough measurement if you park the car on a flat and level surface get and assistant to hold a spirt level vertical measure from the bottom cetre of the rim and the top centre of the rim and use trigonometry to calculate the angle.
Thanks
Mark

the rear adjustment actualy alters toe rather than camber . there should be some negative camber ..

if the camber is out and will not adjust to speck then modified upper arms are available with less camber.

Hi Guys , the only adjustment i can see is for the toe in/out. Do you have to go to Volvo to have the arms modified???
