Make sure you check this out on Monday night.

They are testing the S60R in the arctic circle!!
Presumably to test the 4WD and the 4C suspension.

Cheers,
Dan.

Cheers

I was a bit disappointed at the lack of detail as well.
But they really enthused about it and that is what matters.
These are exceptional cars and their reputations will spread once they are on sale. Of course all this time between letting the press use the cars and when the public get hold of them, they have a chance to iron out a lot of the bugs. Hopefully! :)

I was kind of wondering how long an small 300hp engine would last?? I depends on how you drive it of course but couldn't they get a bad reputation for wearing out quickly?? (This is not only a Volvo question :) )

It's only a 2.3L right??

Cheers

It's a 2.5 litre unit - 120bhp/litre from a 'turbo sports car' really isn't anything to shout home about - but with a car like that who could resist 'exercising' the engine ???? :)

Originally the rev limit was set at 7800rpm, but I have a feeling this has been knocked down to 6400rpm now - something to do with the twin intercoolers causing lag on gear change....shame :(
