Question Driver side window regulator now broken

Hello All

Yesterday the drivers side window stopped working, door card removed and found cable had snapped.
The motor still working fully.
Anyone have any inforamtion on repair kits for C70 - year 2001, where can I get them from in the UK, any information on how to replace the cable.

You help is greately appreciated.

Graham

Sorry to be bearer of bad news, but there is quite a bit on this forum with regards to window problem? There are no kits. new or second hand complete regulator. Possibly specialist repairer if there are any?

But do a search just try window and scan through what comes up

Thank you for the reply, as I thought. I have looked through the forum but problems with Windows appear to be around switches, but will look again.
As its just the cable has snapped I have thought of getting some new cable and re threading it.
Does any one have information on the cable routing in the regulator the only problem I see at the moment is threading the cable around the motor spindle/pulley.

Had a regulator issue with my C70 just a few weeks back... The bads news is for it to be replaced it was £640 at volvo dealers.. the part being the major price (440 parts 200 labour). The dealers were also cheaper than 2 quotes from specialists.
