Default Swapping ECU

Well, ended up avoiding to bring the batteriless, turboless possibly rusted piston rings 98 C70 back to life. So this weekend bought another C70 T5, same model, the question is since the old volvo has the RICA chip in it. Is it possible to swap them as the one I've bought is bog standard?

Would it be safer for a local mechanic to do or is this something easy to do on the driveway at home?

Oh and a more obvious question, where is the ECU chip located in the car?
