Wing and bumper are both bolt ons so it is really what is underneath that is the concern. If you know anyone who is a professional bodywork person take them along with you. Vosa will pass it providing it is roadworthy and not a danger. I once bought an Escort Estate for the dogs that was Cat C. Hit in the rear the tailgate was creased as was the floor BUT the tailgate closed and a bumper fitted so VOSA deemed it okay. Dogs didn't care about the shape of the tailgate and the car was super cheap and drove beautifully. had it for 2 years. So Vosa are not concerned with how well it has been fixed only if it has been and does not present a danger on the road. I would go and look at the car then decide if you want somebody with repair knowledge to inspect it. If it has been well repaired it will be a great car. I had a V70 for 3 years and loved it. Sold it to a philistine who ruined it so it now sits in a garage hoping I get time to sort it.
