Smile WD40 Accelerator Spring

Hi again,
Not that I need to (No squeeks or roughness) but can I spray WD40 on this bronzy looking spring attached to my accelerator pedal?

(Just looking for things to do)

??

Thanks

I see no reason why not, it will certainly help short term to keep things smooth and quiet. If you want long term protection you should investigate a good spray oil such as three in one, WD40 dries out.

Thanks,
I've got 3 in 1 so I'll use that instead.
Thanks again
