Question 740 Estate Removal of Headlining

I'm having trouble locating comprehensive instructions on removing the headlining from my 1987 model 745 estate. I've seen some instructions before and understand that all the trim needs to be removed and for it then to be removed via the rear door. Where I have a problem is that my car has a fitted after market glass sunroof and I just don't understand how or what function the internal surround has and how it is fitted. Is it clipped in, is the material just wrapped round some sort of a bar? I also don't quite understand how the mirror plastic surround is held on. I read somewhere that it easily breaks? Is this right and are replacements readily available?
I don't like starting a job without knowing how I go about it. Any pointers or directions to other instructions would be gratefully received. A pointer that was in an earlier post ended up to a non-exisitent page. Many thanks for any help.

The rear view mirror trim slides off horizontally towards the rear of the car. On a car with a factory sunroof, the headliner is secured around the sunroof with a rubber seal, which should just pull off.

Red face Trim removal - thanks

Thanks Chris740R,

If you hadn't told me, I probably would have tried levering the plastic down and ended up cracking it.
As for the sunroof, unfortunately it isn't a factory fitted one and the only rubber strip I have is on the outside of the car, on the inside is 'broad rim' which is covered in headlining material. Guess I'll just have to pull...... carefully !!!
