  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

No problem. I had this problem before and found if I wiggled the switch the lights came on....sometimes. I then got another switch: same problem. I then got another one and that worked! Then I remember someone here saying you can solve that by crossing a couple of the connections on the back of the switch so the dash lights come on all the time when the switch is on. Not sure if that works though.

Thanks for the info ! I may try my 68 parts car switch and see if it works.
I see you have a 72 C10. I hang out over at 67-72chevytrucks.com in fact I have a couple of Volvo project threads there under Alternate tinkerings.

Good man, I have looked at that site a few times. Looks good. I think the Chev really compliments the Volvo. Covers all bases depending on what mood I am in. Mind you, I would love something like a '55 Buick or a Pontiac.... Love the lines of that era. Start of the V8's, plenty of chrome and curves but before they went mental with the fins! Maybe someday, lets get the recession over with first...lol.
