Hi Duane,
The inlet manifold nipple is here: I am sure that when i looked at BT this was missing and the other end of the PCV heater pipe: , which on the non I/C versions connects to the inlet manifold nipple actually connected to some contraption that went round the cam cover...This is the connection i am interested in and a decent shot of this would be fab... 5l is a lot, my last T5 went through about 4L every 5000 miles or so.... Have you tried removing the filler cap and dip stick with the engine running and testing for pressure that way... Assume no oil leaks BTW.... Jod

My C70 was using around 1 litre of oil in 400 miles. When removing the dipstick / filler cap there was no steam / vapour.
When I change the oil trap, the drain hole back into the block was blocked with 'mayonnaise'. Since changing the oil trap I've only done about 300 miles and it hasn't used any measurable amount of oil. |
