400hp AWD C30 from Polestar?

Polestar Performance are developing a Volvo C30 Concept Car. And according to my source, +400hp and AWD :O

Does anyone have any information about this??? Sounds like a RS-killer to me..

Polestar is known as the STCC champions from Sweden

Volvo themselves have an AWD C30 developed with a 325bhp version of their engine that is in the Focus RS.

Pre production cars were built and a date set for it to come to the market in October last year. It was canned, maybe partly due to some dispute between Volvo and their UK dealer principles over the price to be asked here in the UK where it was planned to sell most of them.

Maybe Polestar are converting one of these cars to a higher spec. for some publicity value.....just maybe to herald a postponed launch.....
