Default the alloy refurb saga

last night i thought id check the colour of these badly refurbed wheels against the paint i had mixed by Halfords, using the 932 code i given to me by Volvo. what i found is the 932 colour is a very close match to the wheels Simon Linton sold recently:

http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/photopos...sort=1&cat=513

whereas mine are a much lighter colour:

yet another problem for me to argue against Wheelrite and Capital One with.

Yours look a silver and the others look bronze in colour. I personally dont like the bronze colour but you certainly have a point there that you can use in your defence.
I hadnt realised that you had paid by credit card. But I'd think you should get your money back if you send them pics or the lousey refurb job.

I think I've mentioned this before Adam, but it looks to me like your wheels are'nt lacquered.

If you want try an experiment, spray a small area with a good coat of lacquer from an aerosol, and you'll probably find the colour will darken. Lacquer tends to bring metallic colours "to life"
