Default Din & Double Single Din question

Does anyone know of, or has already fitted, two single din head units to a V70 in place of the factory double din unit ?

Is there a kit or fascia panel available ?

Cheers

Jules

Double DIN will fit but you have to file/ cut the slide runner away from the inside of where the head unit fits, this is part of the dash plastic and runs down the side where the head unit fits, I removed mine with wire cutters and the dremel but it makes a real load of dust - Once this "rail" is taken out a double DIN will fit no problem - Mike

You can get a kit on fleebay for fitting a standard radio, it will come with a pocket and wiring harness, roughly around £10

I thought the 2 single DIN's was the alternative because you didn't know the box was available, physcally yes they will fit, don't know about the wiring though?
