I think I understood that

You can always count on brakes to give you aggro

And breathe, I had a problem with my wheel nuts last week, whichever tool changed the tyres must have had a few weeks in the gym cos i managed to snap the head on my wheelbrace whilst trying to undo the nuts. I was far from amused but one extendable wheel brace later and the job was done.

A little trick of the trade for tight nuts:

Fit a six sided correct size socket over the top of the nut, preferably an impact, get a lump hammer and hit the socket with a nice square blow a couple of times on to the nut, dont go mad, you will be amazed how easy those nuts will come off, if you cannot undo it with a normal wheelbrace then dont start using extra long bars etc, try that what i said and most times you will be able to undo with one hand, Ive seen people with scaffold bars, jumping up and down, couple of taps and nuts will p**s off!
