MOT data from the Vosa files after FOI request and links
Had a quick look round and couldn't see of anyone had already posted this but here goes.
BBC Freedom Of Info man applied under Freedom of Information Act for MOT failure rate, make and model info and sour people at the VOSA sent an unreadable file, which he translated to an Excell spreadsheet. Well done him.. Took him 3 years to go through the FOI hoops, but it seems most Government agencies didn't have FOI plans and people in place when instigated. I've only looked at XC90's but you might be interested in your own models failings. Surprised how many cars fail MOT on Tyres! and Glass? http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/opensecrets volvo start at line 30291 . Have Fun! there's an update and links to searchable speadsheets and databases. http://www.prosol.co.uk/mot_test_results
