Hi Jacq,

I've spoken to Dastek UK and they don't seem to have any recollection of working on a T4; strange given the fact they've done some work on your car. They've pointed me in the direction of one of their dealers near London who want £650 to do the work which seems to be quite a lot.

It's definately been there, I saw it with my own eyes, and did the return trip on the bloody train while it was getting worked on as well lol.

Ouch, a lot of cash. My car was at Dastek in Dalgety Bay, Fife, in Scotland. It was formerly called Storm Engineering, and the guy who runs it is called Gerry Gaffney. My quote for the Unichip was £400 plus VAT. I don't know why there was such a discrepancy in price for the same product; but as i've said elsewhere, Gerry and his team were very professional , couteous and above all, honest, and not just out to make a fast buck.
Coming all the way up here wouldn't be cost effective, so maybe your best bet locally would be a Rica chip?
