Tracs ecu

Am I correct in understanding that tracs is integral in the abs ? If so can I swap an abs ecu with one with tracs and abs so giving my car tracs ? Of course I will need the necessary tracs relays along with tracs wheel sensors. Have I read something wrong or is it that simple?

Nope, theres more too it

The brake master cylinder for definite (and I believe possibly the ABS pump) are unique to the TRACS system.

no it isn't quite that simple

You will need the

Master cylinder
ABS alloy block"What the ECU connects to"
One of the pipes from the master cylinder to the ABU unit is a larger bore size

There is no Tracs relay and the wheel sensors are all the same.

TBH there is no point in retro fitting the Tracs as it is a pile of poo and only works below 25mph

Ok thanks so its possible. For now I'm going to work with what I've got rather than spend out on another car because it needs to be automatic and I need hand controls which add another £700 to the cost of any car I buy. I also like challenges

Would love a T5-R if one came up in automatic and the right colour and price [black or silver]

Volvo never made the T-5R's in silver
